Delete your data
Effective date: October 4, 2026
You can ask Pulse to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This includes messages you sent to our Instagram or Facebook accounts, which our app Pulse Conversations receives through Meta’s official API.
How to ask
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Include your Instagram username or Facebook profile link, and the email you used with us, if any. We may ask you to confirm the request from that account or email, so we delete the right person’s data.
Or send “delete my data” in your Instagram or Facebook conversation with Pulse. A person on our team will handle your request.
You don’t need an account with us, and we never ask for your password.
What we delete
- Any copies we hold of your messages, attachments, timestamps and the replies we drafted, plus coded values (hashes) made from that data.
- The user ID Meta gives our app for you, your username and your display name in our records.
- Your contact and form answers in our email platform, if you used one of our free tools.
What we keep
We keep only a minimal do-not-contact record (your username or email), so we don’t contact you again. If you want that removed too, say so in your request and we remove it.
Copies held by Instagram or Facebook are controlled by Meta, not by us. Use their message controls to manage them. Deleting a chat from your inbox may not remove it from other inboxes or from Meta’s systems.
How we confirm
We reply to confirm we received your request. We finish the deletion and confirm it within 30 days.
Do I need to connect anything?
No. You don’t need to connect an account to Pulse Conversations to ask for deletion. Only our team connects Pulse’s own accounts to the app.
